Colors for Hope Jo Jo Pink nail polish from Clinton's Club

Hello! Today's review is of a polish that is near and dear to my heart!
A friend of mine, Lorie, has a beautiful daughter named Jojo. Jojo was born with Spinabifida and was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma. Stage 2, Clinical Stage 3 in 2011. Over the past two years, I have watched Jojo flourish and beam with happiness and LIFE. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking of all she has accomplished in her 9 years. The strength of her mom is also astounding. They both are an inspiration to me, and thousands of others!

Lorie contacted me yesterday and said she wanted to send me a Team Jojo goodie bag. Yes, please! It arrived TODAY! :)

She sent me 2 bracelets, a sticker for my car, a temporary tattoo and a nail polish named after Jojo, made by Clinton's Club, which is an amazing organization that helps families of children with cancer. From their website:

Clinton's Club was created by Clinton Milliken and his family after Clinton was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer, one month before his 5th birthday. Sadly, on January 19, 2012 Clinton's heart flew to Heaven. While Clinton may have lost his battle with Medulloblastoma, his fight is not over. Clinton's family saw first hand the needs of a family with a sick child. Simple everyday tasks that we all take for granted can quickly become overwhelming. Tasks like grocery shopping, getting a hair cut, or even a care giver visiting the doctor are all dangerous outings for a child with a compromised immune system due to cancer treatment.

In addition to raising awareness, Clinton's Club wants to help these families by providing these services at no cost to the families who are typically already financially struggling, as caring for a sick child is a full time job with no pay.

Colors for Hope, is a project inspired by a local Nashville girl fighting a rare form of cancer. She wished to have her own nail polish and from there it has grown. Clinton's Club thought it would be a novel idea for lots of kids to have their own polish. The thought was that children battling cancer could name their colors and through the sales of the polish their stories and the stories of millions of children fighting cancer could be heard.

100% of the proceeds from Colors for Hope will be used for Clinton's Club to help other local children fighting cancer.

Awesome, right?

The first thing I did was paint my nails!

Jo Jo Pink is a deep berry colored foil polish with silver shimmer. It is girly, pink, and beautiful! It went on smoothly and was perfect at 2 coats. I topped it with Sally Hansen quick dry top coat.

Not only is this a gorgeous polish, it represents such an amazing girl, Jojo, and a great organization!

They currently have 11 polishes and are available for purchase here. If you would like to find out more information about Clinton's Club and read Clinton's story, you can do so here.

I will wear this color proudly for Jojo, and for the millions of other children like her. If you would like to read about her story, you can do so here. Follow her on facebook here!

I love you, Jojo! You'll never fight alone!
